Doncaster roofing firm scales new heights with retail park contract

A South Yorkshire company has signed a new contract to provide roofing services to one of the area’s major retail stores.

Local company Doncaster Maintenance was hired to carry out renovation work on the roof of the Lakeside Village shopping center.

Last year, the retail store, home to big brands like Clarks, M&S Outlet and GAP Outlet, completed a £ 1 million renovation program that included shop front upgrades and improved landscaping.

Mark Savage, Operations Manager at Doncaster Maintenance commented, “We have over 20 years experience in maintenance services and as a Doncaster company we were thrilled to win this contract with Lakeside Village which is such a household name in the area.

“Among other things, we will recoat the original roof with a new generation silicone hybrid coating system called Giromax Roof Coat RC to ensure that the profiled metal roof panels will last for the next 20 years. We look forward to getting started! “

Di Rodgers, Center Manager at Lakeside Village added, “It was obviously a difficult time for everyone, including the retail sector and us here at Lakeside Village, but over the past year we have continued our renovation plans and completed the major frontline work.

“We are very excited to be working with the Doncaster Maintenance team that won the tender for this job. It’s important that the local business community can support one another here in Doncaster, especially right now, so that it suits us really well. “
