Glenn Miller Orchestra returns for New Year’s event

Ring in the new year with the swing sounds of the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. ET while the legend lives on.

JazzAid Live at the Banyan Bowl is a jazz series broadcast live from the Banyan Bowl Amphitheater in Pinecrest Gardens. To save the famous series this year and feed families across the country, the Village of Pinecrest will make this iconic jazz series available to anyone with internet access.

A generous portion of the proceeds from JazzAid Live will go directly to World Central Kitchen, which was founded by renowned international chef José Andrés to feed families affected by the pandemic.

Tickets are $ 15 per show, or you can purchase the NEW bundle subscription for a reduced price of $ 65 for the five remaining shows. Concerts will only be broadcast once at 8:00 p.m. ET on the day of the concert on an internet-based device, including some smart TVs, computer monitors, tablets, and smartphones.

By popular request, the Glenn Miller Orchestra will “swing” back to Pinecrest on Saturday, January 16 to give an encore. The legendary Glenn Miller was one of the most successful of all dance band leaders in the swing era of the 1930s and 40s. An unparalleled string of hit records, the constant impact of radio broadcasts, and the attraction in theaters, hotels, and dance pavilions built and supported its popularity. More than 18 musicians and singers bring the unforgettable Glenn Miller sound and play the songs that everyone remembers. This is a show not to be missed by jazz and swing fans or incurable romantics looking to travel back in time.
