Law360 (Jul 9, 2020, 4:31 p.m. EDT) – Liberty Mutual sued a Georgia roofing company in federal court for allegedly underpaid employee compensation insurance premiums of approximately $ 2.3 million. The group misrepresented the size of their business and failed to collaborate with audits.
LM Insurance Corp. sued Roofing Aguilar LLC in federal court in Georgia Wednesday. The company had under-reported the size of its business and wages and salaries for seven different policies that were issued over a period of approximately three years.
“The defendants provided Liberty Mutual with inaccurate, incomplete, and misleading documents and information about Roofing Aguilar’s payroll and earnings,” the lawsuit said.
