Lucifer Lighting New LED Optics and Sources

Lucifer Lighting, known for designing and constructing high quality, inconspicuous architectural lights, has responded to the changes in the way we work and our lives by releasing three new LED platforms.

“As more and more people spend more time at home, more attention is paid to details that improve our work and living environment,” said Alexandra Mathews, Executive Vice President of Lucifer Lighting. “Higher quality and warmer tinted indoor lighting help improve productivity and maintain natural circadian rhythms,” she adds.

To meet this demand, Lucifer Lighting is offering two new sources, a fixed 2200K LED and a new warm-dim LED that is specially calibrated for the incandescent lamp dimming range from 2700K to 1800K. These 90+ CRI sources are available for all Lucifer Lighting downlights, trackheads and surface mount luminaires such as Squilinder and Cylinder with numerous driver options.

In addition, Lucifer Lighting has introduced an expressive narrow beam optics with beam angles of up to 10 ° and a candle power of the central beam (CBCP) of up to 12,500. This new high density LED source has been optimized for narrow beam optics and is particularly flexible enough to switch to standard optics and wider beams. The narrow beam optics are compatible with all Lucifer Lighting drivers and are available in 80+, 90+ and 97+ CRI with 2 SDCM for 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K.

“We have always worked closely with leading architects and designers,” says Alexandra Mathews. “We pride ourselves on responding to their creative needs, so we’re excited to meet the demand for these new, leading-edge light source technologies. Now, with the trusted Lucifer lighting fixtures, designers can create the warm, welcoming environments they envision and have a focused beam to highlight specific objects and locations. “
