The Metal Construction Association (MCA) is proud to announce that two companies have recently joined the 100+ manufacturers and suppliers dedicated to expanding and developing the metal construction industry: Wood’s Powr-Grip and Wagner Metal Supply.
Woods Powr-Grip – Based in Laurel, Montana, Woods Powr-Grip is now in the third generation of family management. The company designs, manufactures, and sells tools and equipment, including a full line of handheld vacuums, under-the-hook vacuum lifters, and vacuum mounting cups to make materials and assembly tools easier to use. The company now employs over 150 people, but continues to adhere to founder Howard Wood’s philosophy of always doing the right thing for customers, employees and everyone who comes into contact with WPG products.
Wagner Metal Supply – This family-owned and operated metalworking business in Defiance, Ohio offers metal products such as metal roofing panels, metal siding panels, a wide range of metal accessories, and more. The company offers two different exclusive metal plates. DuraFastTM is used for metal siding and metal roofing applications, and DuraLoc-16TM is a standing seam roofing sheet. The company has been in business for over two decades and Brett Wagner, the company’s founder, sticks to the principle of “creating customers for life”.
Woods Powr-Grip’s Barry Wood described his reasons for joining MCA. “MCA is the place to meet and develop relationships with key people in the industry. We look forward to building valuable relationships through the incredible networking opportunities. “
Both companies now have access to the resources available to all MCA members, including updated technical reports, research data, the annual market study and industry information, in the “Members Only” section of the MCA website.
MCA members represent a wide range of companies including manufacturers of metal roofs, wall panels, shingles and coatings, manufacturers of coil coaters and metals, distributors, manufacturers of equipment and accessories, manufacturers of energy insulation systems, MCM manufacturers and contractors.
MCA member companies benefit from participation in association activities and connections between suppliers and industry leaders in research, codes and standards, market development and technical programs. The association is working to increase the use of metal materials in construction by educating the construction and design communities about the benefits of metal.
“We welcome our new members and look forward to sharing all the benefits of MCA,” said Jeff Henry, Executive Director of MCA. “We look forward to building meaningful relationships that will help our members network with other industry leaders and grow their businesses.”
