& CELEBRATES 60 ANNIVERSARY

Show HelpsHomeowners who are done DIY and need professional help

Last year, in the middle of the pandemic, homeowners rolled up their sleeves to tackle various DIY projects in and around their homes. After this short time, many quickly saw the benefits of working with a professional, experienced contractor.

“We hear more and more real-life stories from homeowners who have learned that there are some projects that are above their ‘pay grade’ that require the expertise of a professional builder or remodel,” said Diane Welhouse, CKBR, Managing Director of NARI Milwaukee. “In some cases, homeowners have started a project but couldn’t complete it on their own, so our members come to the rescue.”

For those with indoor and outdoor plans in mind, the NARI Home & Remodeling Show has qualified, trusted, local professionals who can run Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis.

More than 70 NARI Milwaukee members will exhibit and be available to answer questions, make recommendations, and provide guidance, solutions, and creative suggestions. In fact, now is the time for homeowners to hire contractors for their home improvement and remodeling projects in 2022.

The exhibitors participating in the NARI Home & Remodeling Show offer the full range of remodeling and home improvement services and products – from planning / construction companies to specialized contractors for all areas of the home, including roofs, gutters, windows, doors, HVAC, electrical and more .

To give homeowners a basic understanding of the remodeling process, NARIMilwaukee is hosting a series of training events at the show. Participants can learn more about the steps and phases of the remodeling process, how to start, what will affect the remodeling budget, and how much remodeling projects cost. Some of the specialty training courses include “What’s Your Remodeling Plan?” And multiple editions of the game show “Guess the Price of the Remodel”.

“For homeowners looking to do interior or exterior improvements and upgrades, our Home & Remodeling Show is the first stop,” Welhouse says they work and how you can work with them. And the timing is right, as many contractors book six to nine months in advance, so jumping in the process is essential. “
