FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch company, is pleased to announce the election of owner Gary Badge as managing director. Badge has been a committed member of the FK family for 17 years. His responsibilities included communication, project management, marketing, contract negotiations and day-to-day business.
“Gary was an important member of our team and his election as executive director is well deserved,” said Bob Koch, founding director and owner of the company. “His experience and leadership skills have been instrumental in maintaining strong customer relationships and successfully developing bespoke solutions for a wide variety of projects.”
In addition to operational initiatives, Badge has led a number of the company’s design projects including the Courtyard Marriott and DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and the Vacation Village in Orlando, Florida.
“It is an honor to be elected as an executive member of FK,” said Badge. “I look forward to my expanded role and to working with the team to serve our customers through design innovation, collaboration and responsiveness.”
With more than 20 years of experience, Badge is an accomplished design professional with a Bachelor of Design, Construction, and Planning from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Architecture from Florida A&M University. He is also certified in Business Management by Rollins College of the Crummer Graduate School of Business.
