New Mgr of Architectural Q/A Vitro Architectural Glass

Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) has promoted Paul Di Cesare to Architectural Quality Assurance Manager.

In his new role, Di Cesare will oversee Vitro’s sales force and contacts, and provide technical services and on-site support in the commercial, residential and specialty markets areas. He will also be the company’s stakeholder for Vitro in various glass industry and regulatory organizations.

Di Cesare has been with Vitro since 1994. Paul Bush, vice president of technical services and government affairs for Vitro Architectural Glass, said Di Cesare’s work in flat glass operations, quality, technical services and sales gives him an experienced perspective that will benefit Vitro customers. “Paul’s extensive experience and exceptional knowledge of our products, as well as the practical and technical challenges our customers face every day, make him an excellent partner for this role,” he said.

During his career at Vitro, Di Cesare has held increasing responsibility positions at several corporate plants including Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Fresno, California. He also served as a manager of manufactured products at the Allentown, Pennsylvania site, where he served in both sales and operations.

Prior to his new position, Di Cesare worked in the technical service department of Vitro and supported the customers and account managers of Vitro Flat Glass on site. As a key accounts manager in the sales organization, he managed several important commercial construction accounts for Vitro Glass in the northeastern United States

Di Cesare holds a bachelor’s degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University and a master’s of business administration from Ashland University. He lives near Allentown, Pennsylvania.
