New Roof Vent For Clothes Dryer Exhaust

InOvate, the manufacturer of premium ventilation products for residential construction, has taken roof ventilation to a new level with the introduction of a revised roof finish. The company is focused on improving the safety and exhaust performance of tumble dryers with product solutions that solve common ventilation problems. A passionate commitment to detail and product quality has helped bring new innovations to market, including products that have been refined in their simplicity and performance.

The new DryerJack Model 477 has the same quality promise as the entire InOvate product family. Its design maximizes the efficiency and safety of the dryer exhaust system. The model 477 is a deep-drawn model made of Galvalume steel for a long service life and available in four powder-coated colors. The deep-draw process provides a seamless hood that provides additional protection against the elements, as well as a sleek look to enhance home aesthetics.

“As with any InOvate product development, the team first listened to customers and worked to develop advanced solutions that best meet their needs and deliver superior quality and performance,” said Cliff Budnick, President of InOvate. “Laboratory and field tests have shown that the 477 is perfect for properly ventilating tumble dryers through the roof.”

International building codes prohibit the use of screens, require a flap and vent that is larger than 12.5 inches for dryer exhaust systems. The DryerJack exceeds all manufacturer and construction regulations without changes. It is ready to use right out of the box.

Superior airflow efficiency is achieved through a large, clean opening and a lighter, curved Galvalume damper. This, combined with the increasing size of the vent duct backward, allows the dryer to operate at maximum power, maximizing airflow efficiency and reducing the likelihood of dangerous dryer fires. The larger opening also provides easy cleaning and maintenance access, while lint is blown directly, not downward.
