Noodles & Company, which serves classic pasta and noodle dishes inspired by flavors from around the world, today announced the nationwide launch of zucchini noodles. The delicious low calorie and low carbohydrate zoodles are made from fresh zucchini that are curled in the house every day. They are offered in two worldly dishes – the brand new Zucchini Romesco and the popular Zucchini Thai Green Curry with Prawns. Noodles is the first national fast-casual chain to offer zoodles from coast to coast.
The two newly introduced Zoodle dishes include:
Zucchini Romesco: This new dish features a sweet and flavorful roasted paprika sauce, reminiscent of a Spanish pesto, made with almonds, sun-dried tomatoes and garden vegetables.
Zucchini Thai Green Curry with Prawns: This dish is a new variant of a noodle staple and combines a sweet coconut green curry sauce with pineapple, broccoli, red onions, peas, lime, black sesame seeds and coriander.
“We’re excited to add Zoodles to our restaurants across the country. Expanding our noodle offerings from classic pastas like cavatappi, elbow and spaghetti to more adventurous noodles like udon, rice and ramen, zucchini is a natural step in bringing more creative options to our guests. Not only are noodles delicious and a great substitute for any dish we serve, they also meet many of today’s nutritional needs, such as low-carb and gluten-free, ”said Chas Hermann, Chief Brand Officer at Noodles & Company. “Our new zucchini noodles will delight you with their bold taste and fresh, high-quality ingredients.”
Small Zoodle bowls start at $ 5.75 and regular bowls start at $ 7.25. In addition, classic noodles can be replaced with zoodles in any dish for $ 0.75. To encourage diners to try zucchini noodles, Noodles offers a taste guarantee. Any guest who orders a bowl of zucchini noodles and doesn’t feel the zoodle love can get a traditional pasta dish at no additional cost.
Zucchini noodles are a great choice for pasta lovers looking for a lighter version. A normal serving of zucchini noodles contains 90 percent fewer calories and carbohydrates than a normal serving of elbow noodle, and has all of the flavors and flavors that guests expect from pasta. In addition, zoodles are filled with vitamin C and potassium and are gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian.
“Crunchy and fresh zoodles are a perfect guiltless substitute for traditional pasta in any of our dishes,” said Nick Graff, Executive Chef at Noodles and Company. “All of our flavorful sauces go incredibly well with the new zucchini noodles. It has never been so easy or delicious to get vegetables.”
Zoodles are available at all 476 Noodles restaurants nationwide.
