The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) invites all roofing industry professionals to meet virtually for DC Day in DC 2021 from March 23-24. The annual event gives the industry the opportunity to speak with one voice on key government policy issues.
Roofing Day in DC brings together roofers, distributors, manufacturers, and other industry professionals from across the United States to share industry priorities with lawmakers. It is important that members of Congress are informed of the critical issues facing the umbrella industry.
All roofers and employees are invited to take part in this year’s event. Participants will meet virtually with members of the Congress and Congress staff to discuss federal issues of concern to the umbrella industry: increasing funding for vocational and technical training to address labor shortages; Inclusion of a strong building component in infrastructure legislation; and immigration reform that meets the present and future needs of the roofing industry. These topics were selected with input from the Roof Day Advisory Committee, made up of NRCA members and representatives from other industry organizations involved in Roof Day in DC 2021.
