Ontario Provincial Police are asking Kingsville residents to be on alert after roofing pegs were found in a park.

Ontario Provincial Police are asking Kingsville residents to be on alert after roofing pegs were found in a park.

On Sunday, a resident told officials that they had found two strands of roofing nails near a carousel in York Park on Conservation Drive in Kingsville. The police went to the park to collect the nails and make sure there were no others around.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or anonymously Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
