Starks to retire from Liberty National Bank || Content sponsored by Quality Roofing

Donna Starks in downtown Liberty National Bank will retire on March 31st after 16 years with the bank.

Starks joined the bank in 2005 as an accountant. She later served as the bank’s primary evidence operator until the bank switched to the cash register system. As soon as the bank no longer had a proofing department, Starks switched back to the accountant. Her duties included supporting customer calls and questions as well as carrying out various back office tasks.

The Chairman, Carl T. Cecil, said: “On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Employees, I congratulate Donna on her 16 years of service. Donna was a dedicated employee who treated her employees and customers with respect and always had a helpful spirit. We wish her all the best in retirement. “

Starks and her husband Randy have been married for 42 years and have two daughters, Jenice Starks Hutchison, husband Steven Hutchison and Carrie Starks Cannon, husband Daniel Cannon. She also has five grandchildren, Zoey Hutchison, Baylea Hutchison, Alex Hutchison, Jacob Cannon, and Elijah Cannon.

She plans to spend her retirement working on various home improvement projects and being with her family. The family is a longtime member of the Church of Christ.

The bank held a retirement reception on Thursday, March 18.
