Texas A&M University Commerce (TAMUC) is hosting Chumbox: Stories from the Web about zoom. This event starts tonight.

“Chumbox: Stories from the Web is the final piece in our New Play Development Series. The pieces in this series are new, unreleased works and we are working with the playwrights to help them develop their scripts further. Our playwright Austin Roberts wrote Chumbox as part of his Honors Thesis Project. This staged reading is an important part of his thesis as he wrote the play to assess how a play changes from the original idea to a formal reading, ”Worley said.

“We showcase the performance in Zoom webinars. The opening and Friday evening performances will be streamed live and recorded.
